I’m Taking a Break from Weekly Classes

Motherhood is hard work! I’m taking a break from regular weekly classes right now, but I’ promise they’ll be back when the little one is older.
Please try a one-day workshop instead! See you soon!

All Levels — perfect for beginners! An easy going class. You’ll experience slow sun salutations, standing and balancing. Some seated postures to open the hips and strengthen the core. Plenty of opportunities for a good stretch and release. With modifications, an all levels class can be adjusted for those that seek a challenge in their practice or are just looking to let go of the day!

Chair Yoga — No mat required – it’s yoga, in a chair! Yes, you can get a good workout safely from your seat. Yogic breathing techniques, gentle stretches, and some simple standing and balancing postures with the support of our chair are included in a typical practice. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a slower pace and support. Seniors welcome!

Restorative Yoga and Mediation — This is your ZEN. A very slow sequence of postures meant to get deep into our joints and muscles where we need to release the most. Props such as blocks, bolsters, straps and blankets support us in a relaxing practice set to classic music. Light meditation closes this class. A rejuvenating and restoring class for anyone – perfect for pregnancy and beginners too! (props will be provided)

Yin Flow — A perfectly balanced class: slow sun salutations, standing and balancing poses bring some energy into the body, while a series of long held seated postures give you a good stretch and release with a rejuvenating relaxation at the end. An all levels class that can be adjusted for those who seek a challenge, or are just beginning their yoga practice.

Mommy-to-Be (Prenatal Yoga) — Pregnancy is one of the most transformative and sacred times in a woman’s life. It is a time to honor your growing body and tune into its innate wisdom. A yoga practice during pregnancy can offer women a multitude of natural ways to be present during this process. In this Prenatal Yoga series, you will be lead through postures designed to reduce stress and discomfort during the various stages of pregnancy. Combined with breathing techniques, yoga can also help build the strength and flexibility that will be beneficial during labor and birth. Liz’s prenatal yoga class offers women a safe and relaxing space to share their pregnancy experience and to connect with other mothers while preparing their bodies and mind for birth.
